Started by tidying the garage, then sweeping and mopping it. Cleaned and waxed the Forte, Sportwagen and ST.
Unfortunately my wife hit a pole in the Sportwagen recently. Ouch.

They all l ook so good, bar the door ding.

I hope the damage is localised to just the door skin.

I need to do mine tomorrow... the seasonal maintenance and stuff.
Thinking if I should change over to my no-seasons on my F30 . Checked with the storage, it should be okay to meet up and swap over to my Solstice (the owner is an senior gentleman, not sure if it’s good to meet up in the current situation), but prep-ing to keep driving my F30 throughout .

I deeply appreciate that the insurance guy has cones to mark his street parked vehicle.

This whole svending thing takes forever. I’m only buying cars with shit paint from here on out. Only worry about mechanical stuff and not the showroom shine

Argh, crap. I hope the insurance get it in soon and your excess isn’t too high.

Ooh, I know those poles are never gentle. I used to have a tree protruding in my driveway that did that to lots of guests. Good thing the mirror escaped unharmed. Gotta appreciate the small things.

We’re not going to claim for it. It’s her second at fault this year and our rates would skyrocket.
She wrote off a Ford Escape earlier this year

Ouch. Hopefully she’s okay and no niggles or pains from it.
Any garages you've worked with willing to give 'mates rates' on repair?

She’s fine. It was one of the civilian fleet vehicles at the department she works at. She had to call in the crash over the radio which was embarrassing. She also hit two other vehicles.
I think my company may have preferred rates with shops, although I don't know how appropriate it would be to try and leverage those

Well, if your going to do it, do it in style.
My grand father drove his beaten up 1993 R over 416 SLi, right into the back of a brand new Porsche.
